Cherry blossoms in full bloom at ABQ BioPark

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It will be a beautiful sight at the Albuquerque BioPark in the next few weeks.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the Botanic Garden is inviting guests to what’s called a Hanami.

For hundreds of years, the Japanese have gotten together for the traditional custom.

Every Wednesday in April at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., guests can take a special guided tour through the Japanese garden.

Tours are included with regular admission.
