NM to most likely fall short on health care goal

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New Mexico state officials say they’re expecting to fall short of their goal of enrolling 50,000 people.

New Mexico has relied on the federally-operated exchange website to enroll individuals. A state-run online exchange will take over that task later this year.

By mid-march, about 19,000 people had signed up. Final numbers are still being calculated.
