Only 15% in Journal poll defend foothills shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – APD Chief Gorden Eden initially called the shooting that’s sparked a lot of public outrage justified, but after the mayor said the chief made a mistake, Eden’s taken back that statement saying a full investigation will be conducted.

On Sunday, the Albuquerque Journal released a flash poll asking voters what they thought about the shooting.

Fifty-three percent say it was not justified, 15 percent believe the shooting was justified and 32 percent had no opinion.
