Orphaned mountain lion gets new home

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – A starving mountain lion cub from Washington State has a new home in New Mexico.

A hunter found the young cub alone and fading fast last October.

The hunter and his wife nursed her back to health then turned her over to wildlife officials.

They decided the best place for her is Carlsbad’s Living Desert Zoo where she’s now has a new lease on life.
