Man pleads guilty to sexually abusing child

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexually abusing a child in the Pueblo of Laguna, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Michael Ray Looney, 39, will face at least a 15-year prison sentence.

Looney, who is not American Indian, lives on the pueblo where the sexual acts occurred. He was arrested in June 2013 and has been detained every since.
