Lobos head coach Craig Neal a finalist for two awards

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Although the Lobos Men’s basketball season is over, Lobos head coach Craig Neal continues to keep the program in the national spotlight.

Neal has been named a finalist for the Joe B. Hall award, which is given out to the top rookie coach in college basketball. Neal is also a finalist for the Jim Phelan award.

The Phelan award is given out to the nation’s best head coach. Former Lobos head coach Steve Alford and SDSU head coach Steve Fisher are also finalist for the Phelan award. Both awards will be announced on April 4th in Dallas, TX. Former Lobo
