Lobos begin spring football training

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – In the first day of spring football, Lobos coach Bob Davie told his players it’s personal.

He said it’s not like they won 10 games or went to a bowl game last season. Davie says it is personal in everything they do. He wants this year to be a good one.

Davie liked what he saw Tuesday with the players enthusiasm and intensity. His quarterback, Cole Gautsche, is back from Florida where he worked on his passing ability. Gautsche hopes his hard work shows up in spring and beyond.
