The first will roll into the state late Tuesday into Wednesday. This system will favor the southern part of the state with rain and some isolated thunderstorms. Model data suggest a few storms will be possible in the metro area late Tuesday as well. No major league rainfall but a smattering of storms will be possible.
As storm one exits Wednesday another one will be on its heels. This storm will pass farther north and favor the north for some high elevation snow and northern valley rain. Here is a look at the precipitation projections for both systems. Not too shabby! Skies will clear Friday and stay clear into the weekend.
