Lobos look to fill Bairstow, Williams void

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Talk about big shoes to fill for the young guys on the Lobos men’s basketball roster.

After losing in the second round of the NCAA tournament to Stanford on Friday, now the focus shifts on how to adjust to life on the court without the Lobos’ two leading scorers Cameron Bairstow and Kendall Williams.

Bairstow led the Lobos in scoring an average of 20 points per game, while Williams was close behind with an average of 16 point per game. The Lobos will return starters Deshawn Delaney and Hugh Greenwood, as well as Alek Kirk.
