Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

A quiet and cool night ahead across New Mexico.   Winds won’t be an issue tonight like they were Saturday night and temperatures will rebound in eastern New Mexico on Monday after a cool end to the weekend.    The weather get interesting on Tuesday when an area of low pressure tracks through southern NM.   This could have enough moisture and energy to trigger some dry t-storms so lightning could be a big concern on Tuesday.

After that system moves out another one moves in on Wednesday and it could produce snow/rain on the west facing slopes of the Northern Mountains.    Unfortunately, the rest of us will be dealing with some strong, gusty winds.
