Man faces ABQ judge for illegal auto repair

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque resident the city has called a nuisance will soon face a judge.

News 13 On Special Assignment reported in July on a teenager was running an illegal auto repair shop at his family’s house in Taylor Ranch.

The city told Robert Gibson to stop doing it.

But a couple months later the city says he was back at it.

The city cited his father, Robert Gibson Senior because his son is only 17 years old.

Friday, Gibson Senior faced a judge for an initial hearing.

The case is now set for trial in June. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
