Rare vulture chick hatches at ABQ Zoo

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – We get a peek at a new addition hatched at the ABQ BioPark.

A pair of rare Cape Griffon vultures hatched this chick last month in the African Aviary Exhibit.

Zookeepers have been watching the pair nest for three years and now this.

If you want to see the chick this weekend they nest on the far wall of the Zoo’s Africa Exhibit.
