City officials to hear Biopark suggestions

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – There have been a lot of ideas about how to upgrade the Biopark and Thursday is your chance to hear some of them and share your own.

The City of Albuquerque is holding a public information session on the ABQ Biopark master plan.

More than 1,500 ideas have come in so far including everything from getting bigger sharks to healthier food and connecting the park to Bosque Trails, even adding more New Mexico experiences.

The presentation will include discussion on what has been learned so far. A question and answer session will then follow.

The meeting is Thursday night at 5:30 at the Barelas Senior Center.
