RRFD gets year supply of toilet paper

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Fire Department got a special delivery Wednesday a year supply of toilet paper.

It’s part of the Charmin Relief Program which chooses one fire department in each state to give the toilet paper to.

Charmin asked consumers to share stories on Facebook and Twitter of firehouses in their community that are in need of a better bathroom experience.

Charmin says firefighters put their behinds on the line everyday and the gift is a little something to help them out.

“It’s 960 rolls that we will distribute between the 7 stations that we have here in Rio Rancho,” said Jessica Duron-Martinez of the Rio Rancho Fire Department.

Charmin says it will give about 50,000 rolls of toilet paper to firehouses across the country.
