Lobos arrive in St.Louis

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The NCAA Journey is officially underway with the 17th ranked Lobos on the road ready to face Stanford Friday.

The team left Albuquerque Wednesday morning and has now arrived in St. Louis.

Some Lobo fans are expected to follow and be in St. Louis by game day Friday. It’s a long trip but, not long enough to keep away some of the Lobo faithful.

The Lobos arrived to their hotel by bus after a chartered flight from Albuquerque.

Inside to greet the team was hotel staff and youth from a local basketball team.

Shortly after getting checked in, Coach Craig Neal and his Lobos left the hotel for a closed practice.

Thursday’s practice will be open to the public and more than likely, Lobo fans will be a part of the crowd.
