Board vote approves SF dropout program

SANTA FE (KRQE) – A program to get students who have dropped out of school back in the classroom is moving forward.

According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the Santa Fe school board – in a 4 to 1 vote – approved a contract with Florida Atlantic education partners to run the engage Santa Fe program.

The program targets students age 16 to 21 who are under-credited, truant and not enrolled in high school. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
