Updated WIPP info to be released at meetings

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – What’s really going on at WIPP?

Updated information about the recent radiation leak, as well as proposals to expand the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant’s mission, will be discussed in a series of three public information meetings.

The first is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest Organizing Project at 10th and Gold Southwest in Albuquerque.

The next one is Thursday, March 27, at the Albuquerque Peace and Justice Center at 202 Harvard Southeast.

The final meeting is Monday, March 31, at the Santa Fe Community Foundation at Paseo de Peralta and Halcona Street.
