Program aims to teach teens good driving habits

MORIARTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A program is letting teens text and drive and see what it’s like to drink and drive.

The goal? To teach high school seniors good decision making by teaching them what not to do.

In Moriarty, some of the experiences include driving around golf carts with drunk goggles or while texting.

The program has been going for eight years. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
