A storm currently spinning over Arizona will move through New Mexico on Friday.
Past models maintained storm strength as it came through the state but more recent runs weaken the storm as it moves in. The take away from this is that while we will see scattered showers and storms widespread meaningful rain is unlikely. Skies will clear early Saturday only to see another storm roll in Saturday afternoon.
This system will spread wicked winds into the central and western sections of the state. Meanwhile eastern NM will get a shot at scattered showers.
Skies will clear Sunday and remain clear through much of next week.
Here is a look at the precipitation outlook through the weekend.
