APS seeks public input on budget

Albuquerque Public Schools

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools wants your help on its education financial plan for next school year and the years to come.

This is the district’s second meeting to get public input on how those dollars should be spent.

The meeting is set for 6:00 p.m. Monday night at APS headquarters near Louisiana and Indian School.

APS’s budget this year is nearly six hundred thirty million, but that’s expected to increase next year because state lawmakers earmarked more money for school districts to spend.

The input received from these meetings will be used by administrators as they put together their budgets for consideration by the APS Board of Education.
