FBI, APD search for bank robbery suspect

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Federal investigators and Albuquerque police are searching for the person responsible for robbing an Albuquerque bank.

According to the FBI the robbery occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. Friday at US Bank in the 3000 block of Central Avenue southeast.

Investigators are searching for the suspect who is described as a black male, 50 to 60 years of age and stands about 5’7” tall.

The suspect was last seen wearing jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and had a medical mask over his face. The suspect was last seen heading south from the bank on foot.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300.

Information leading to an arrest and conviction could result in a reward up to $1,000.
