Bernalillo County looking for poll workers

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Clerk’s office is on the search for 800 poll workers to help out at this year’s election.

Available positions range from precinct judges to check in clerks.

Although experience is welcomed, this year they are looking for first time workers who have skills that can help such as computer skills.

This year they’re encouraging students who not old enough to vote to fill out their applications.

“We’re also looking for young people to get involved in the process, we even have an opportunity for 16 and 17 year olds to work the polls on Election Day,” Bernalillo County Clerk Maggie Toulouse-Oliver said.

The program also has training videos on YouTube.
