SFCC reaches settlement with ex-president

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The ousted president of Santa Fe Community College will walk away with half a million dollars from a wrongful termination lawsuit against the school.

Ana Guzman claimed she was let go after she wrote a letter to the state auditor requesting an investigation into the college’s finances.

Guzman sued the school under the whistleblower-protection law.

She and the school have agreed to settle in exchange for her dropping claims against the college.
