Videoboard installation begins at Isotopes Park

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A new, giant videoboard was being installed Monday at Isotopes Park.

When completed, it will be the largest HD video screen in Minor League Baseball.

At 55 feet by 35 feet, it’s about four times bigger than the old screen.

It has nearly two million LEDs, so it’s also energy efficient.

The city owns the park, but the Isotopes are paying for the $1 million videoboard.

The home opener is April 11.
