Mark’s Monday Evening Forecast

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A weak storm system will pass to our north on Tuesday. The only real impact from this system will be some snow showers over the northern mountains. in the metro area, we will see clouds increase on Tuesday, but little else will impact the metro weather wise.  By Wednesday, skies clear statewide and sunny skies rule through Thursday with warming temps.

The action ramps up again toward the weekend. Models are currently at odds with what track a weekend system will take. The European model is definitely more favorable for New Mexico to see significant rain and snow. Take a look at the European track. It drops far enough into the state to lead us to believe this could be another good state precipitation maker. Stay tuned more details at we get closer.
