Valley rain and mountain snow will continue through the overnight hours. Most of the rain and snow during the day Saturday have been the result of moisture being pulled in ahead of the storm. The storm itself will cross the state tonight through Sunday.
All of the high elevation communities across New Mexico and Southern Colorado are now under a Winter Storm Warning. Winter Weather Advisories are in place for the Continental Divide and northeast. The northeast could see some change over to snow late tonight and tomorrow as a cold front sags in and cool temperatures down.
Areas like the Albuquerque metro will continue to see scattered rain showers through Sunday morning, then spot rain Sunday afternoon as the storm departs. Much quieter weather in on tap for the work week as skies clear and temperatures start to warm back up.
