DOH looks to expand medical marijuana growers

SANTA FE (KRQE) – The Martinez Administration has been accused of keeping the state’s medical marijuana program down and now some changes could be coming.

The Department of Health is looking at adding twelve new pot growers and suppliers, bringing the number up to 35. The department also want to double the amount of pot they’re allowed to grow.

More than 10,000 New Mexicans have qualified for the state’s medical marijuana program.
