Alameda, Lousiana construction complete

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Here’s some relief for metro drivers fed up with all the orange barrels: Work on Alameda at Louisiana has wrapped up and the road is back open.

It’s all part of the Alameda widening project from I-25 to Wyoming.

It was expected to last until April, but was finished early, which is a relief to drivers also dealing with Paseo Del Norte construction in the same area.

You will still notice a two-way stop in the area until traffic signals are installed next month. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
