Rio Rancho medical center’s $80M expansion

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho is getting ready to move forward with a huge 80-million  expansion.

Presbyterian Healthcare Services say it will add about 100 new jobs and include a new cancer center and physical therapy gym.

The project involves building a new six-story patient tower that will have room for up to a-hundred-and-twenty additional best, including orthopedic and surgical beds.

Work on the project is expected to begin in June and be complete by late 2015 or early 2016.
