Lobos baseball blanks NIU

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Ray Birmingham’s Lobo baseball team started the home part of their schedule with a shutout Friday. The Lobos blanked Northern Illinois in their first game of the Lobo Invite. Right hand pitcher Drew Bridges shut the Huskies out over six innings with a career high eight strikeouts. Bridges allowed five hits with two walks. The 12 to nothing win improved the Lobos record to 3 and 2.

Bridges was simply phenomenal, shutting out the Huskies over six innings with a career-high eight strikeouts.
