VALENCIA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Crawford Fire, a destructive wildfire in Valencia County, is just about out.

The fire broke out late Wednesday afternoon near Gabaldon Road.

At last check, the fire is 75 percent contained and crews were hoping the winds would cooperate Thursday so they could get all the hot spots out.
