‘Game of Thrones’ premier to hit SF early

SANTA FE (KRQE) – “Game of Thrones” fans will have a chance to see the premiere of the new season before anyone else in Santa Fe.

The man who wrote the series, “George R.R. Martin lives in Santa Fe and he has been holding free screenings of the show at his “Jean Cocteau Theater there.

But now, Martin says he plans to show the premiere of season four at the theater March 29, eight days before it debuts on HBO.

According to Martin’s website, fans lucky enough to get into the theater to watch the old episodes will be given raffle tickets and there will be a drawing at the end of the night from a dragon’s egg.
