NM artist featured in ‘Cavedigger’ documentary

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – You can now see the Oscar-nominated documentary “Cavedigger” about a New Mexico artist.

The documentary features artist Ra Paulette. He’s been carving ornate caves into the sandstone cliffs near Taos for nearly 30 years.

“Cavedigger” is up against four other films for Best Documentary Short Subject.

It’s playing this week at the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque through Wednesday. Tickets cost $5.
