Chris’ Saturday Evening Forecast

Another spring-like day in New Mexico with high temperatures climbing into the 70s and even the upper 80s in parts of the state.   Albuquerque tied a record high of 70° that was set back in 1996 on Saturday.   It will be another mild night with overnight lows cool, but above average for this time of year.

Our fire danger increases tomorrow for central and eastern New Mexico.  A disturbance passes through Colorado on Sunday and it will only crank up our winds.   So much of central New Mexico is under a Red Flag Warning through Sunday night. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
