Roswell woman dies in house fire

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – An elderly Roswell woman has died after a fire in her home. Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened.

Firefighters were called to 2400 Isler Road at about 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon but the home was already engulfed.

They say one person was found dead inside. Neighbors say it was the 84-year-old woman who lived there.
