This year’s January was driest on record

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Weather experts say nationwide, It was the fifth driest January on record.

And despite some of the snow New Mexico saw this winter, it just wasn’t enough. Experts say the state had its driest January yet.

That’s bad news, especially when it comes to fire danger.
