Shelter-in-place lifted for elementary

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Officials placed Mission Avenue Elementary School on shelter-in-place due to police activity in the area Thursday.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department says that they were dealing with a barricaded subject on Noble Ct. in northeast Albuquerque.

APS police were at the school to ensure the safety of students and stay. The shelter-in-place was lifted around 3:25 p.m.
