Metal company to bring high-paying jobs

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A new company is moving to New Mexico and it’s bringing some high-paying jobs with it.

DHF Technical Products, a precious metal processing company out of California, is relocating to Rio Rancho. It melts and processes precious metals for things like jewelry and cars and sells them all over the world.

It will employ 50 people with an average salary of $50,000 a year.

DHF chose New Mexico because of its improved tax breaks to lure businesses here.

“If everything goes well tomorrow, we’ll be able to make our first hire next week and be up and running here as soon as possible,” said Dan Castilleja, DHF president.

“DHF will take over a 21,000-square-foot building near Northern and New Mexico 528.
