It appears the move to legalize marijuana for recreational use in New Mexico died in committee at the legislative session yesterday. The bill’s sponsor, Jerry Ortiz y Pino calls legalization “inevitable” and vows to reintroduce the legislation again next year.

A major recall of child car seats from Graco.  The recall covers 11 models sold from 2009 through 2013 because their buckles may not unlatch which can trap children. There’s information on on how to get a free buckle replacement.

New Mexico’s family-owned Bueno Foods is recalling its frozen green chile because it may be contaminated with Listeria.  The company says you don’t have to throw it away, must make sure you cook it thoroughly before eating it.
