ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A serial armed robber who had a lot of people here and other places very worried, is going to prison for a long time.
Christopher Perea pled guilty Wednesday to 14 federal charges stemming from holdups in New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.
A half dozen were in Albuquerque in the spring of 2012.
He faced federal charges because many of the stores he hit are owned by interstate chains.
The most money he ever got here was $160.
He’s facing 20 years in prison.
