NM students rank below average on AP tests

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An annual report shows only 12 percent of New Mexico students passed Advanced Placement tests. That’s compared to a national average of 20 percent.

The report comes from the college board.

The good news is New Mexico had the highest percentage of Hispanic and low-income students pass the test.
