John’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Our final weak dose of winter weather wraps up today, making way for quiet and mild weather for the rest of the week.

As a ridge of high pressure starts to work it’s way to the state, we’ll have a light and dry northwesterly flow in place through Wednesday. This will allow temperatures to warm some, especially east. However, temps really warm up Wednesday as we go to a more westerly flow. Winds will also kick up a bit, leading to fire weather concerns. The ridge builds in through the weekend keeping the weather quiet and unseasonably warm.

It looks like our next shot at a winter storm will not arrive until at least early next week.
