2 arrested, accused of Roswell racketeering

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Thieves have been busy stealing purses, wallets and credit cards in the Roswell area.

Now police believe they know who those thieves are. Calvin Reese, 23, and Myranda Salayandia, 19, have been arrested and charged with racketeering.

Police say they pulled the pair over during a traffic stop and connected them to the thefts.

Investigators believe there are at least 41 victims.
