Chamisa Hills may get new owner

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – There may be a buyer for the troubled Chamisa Hills Country Club in Rio Rancho.

A company called The Club at Rio Rancho Inc., has signed an agreement to buy it if the City Council approves a new water deal for the club and course.

The current owner is selling because he can’t afford to pay the water bill.
