$2K in jewelry stolen from SF store

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Santa Fe police have identified a brazen thief caught on tape stealing from a jewelry store. Now they just need to find him.

Detectives believe Carlos Lovato, 61, is the man on surveillance video taking about $2,000 worth of necklaces, rings and bracelets from the Turquoise Butterfly late last month.

Police say several tips helped identify him.

Once he’s caught, he’ll face shoplifting charges.

Lovato has a long criminal history that spans more than a decade.

If you know where he is, call Santa Fe police.
