Special Spaces gives new space for boy

Aaron Armijo

A program called Special Spaces Albuquerque, a non-profit focused on making a difference in lives of kids with life threatening illnesses did just that for Aaron Armijo’s bedroom.

Aaron has had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy since he was three years old but that hasn’t slowed him down; he’s a manager for the Rio Rancho High School basketball team.

To Aaron’s joyful surprise, Special Spaces made over his bedroom tapping into his love of sports to include full size athlete decals and sports decorations.
