Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

After a quiet weekend, the weather will get a little more active for the beginning of the work week.   A cold front is pushing through eastern New Mexico tonight.   That will drop temperatures off for Monday and it’ll feel a little more like February for Monday and Tuesday there.   The cold air won’t make it past the central mountain chain so temps will remain mild in central and western New Mexico.

We will watch for the chance for snow in the northern mountains and in the east.   Right now, it doesn’t look like it will be a lot of snow.   Most areas will pick up a trace to 3 inches with the higher totals in the northern mountains.   After Tuesday, we start to dry out and warm up once again.
