Lapel video reveals scary scuffle

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – APD has released lapel camera video of a traffic stop that turned dangerous.

An officer pulled over Santiago Luna, 23, last month, discovered there was a felony warrant for his arrest and told him to put his hands on the steering wheel.

Instead, Luna started the car.

When he refused to turn it off, the officer Tased him. Luna then made a move for the car’s glove box.

There was a struggle and the officer was finally able to subdue him and cuff him.

APD says Luna had two guns in a shoulder holster beneath his jacket. A search of the car turned up drugs and money.

Luna is accused of felon in possession of a firearm, battery on a police officer and other counts.
