Hoops for Hope

ALBUQUERQUE (KASA) – Friday night state senators and representatives will go head to head on the basketball court for the annual Hoops 4 Hope basketball game.

It helps raise awareness and funds for cancer treatment and research at the University of New Mexico Cancer Center.

Coaching the teams are retired New Mexico State University men’s basketball head coach Lou Henson, NMSU deputy athletics director David McCollum, and UNM men’s baseball head coach Ray Birmingham.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the Capitol High School gymnasium in Santa Fe.

Tickets are $5 at the door.
