HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – Autopsy results are in for the man found badly decomposed inside a freezer in Hobbs.
Police found Everette Wilford, 22, inside the freezer in an abandoned home on East Dunnam in September after people reported a foul odor was coming from the home.
On Friday, they revealed that his death was an accident.
They say he was high on meth and apparently got too hot and got in the freezer to cool off.
Wilford died from an overdose.
